Green Bus (Greencrop International Pvt. Ltd) announced its June 28th plan to increase investment to boost the company’s potential as ASEAN approaches. They plan to reach ASEAN countries in the future including Loas, Cambodia, Burma, Malaysia, Singapore and China.
Somchai Thongkumkhun, part of the Greencrop International Pvt. Ltd board, said that Thailand has potential to increase land routes to other ASEAN countries. This initiative will also support the government’s policy of increasing mobility to Laos and Cambodia.
Somchai added that low-price air flights and the high-speed train project might take around 10 years to complete, while the Greencrop project is set to be completed in 5-10 years, all these projects giving rise to easy mobility in the ASEN region. The 5,000 million baht investment will go to 900 new buses and 1,500 new workers. Language, culture, and the traffic rules of other countires will be part of a training program for all workers.
Greenbus will start 2 routes from Chiang Mai to Luang Prabang via Viangjun, and also Chiang Mai to Kunming.
