10th September, at the 80th Anniversary Building, Worawat Ua-Apinyakul, the minister of the Prime Minister’s Office, presided over a workshop concerned with the development of upper northern Thailand. A four year plan (2014- 2017) needs to be drawn up to develop this region says the office.
This workshop invited the Chiang Mai Governor, Deputy Governor, and the Chiang Mai Cluster Office of Strategy Management.
The minister said that in order to create the development plan it is very important to cooperate with private organisations to understand people’s needs and wants as well as to improve the quality of products. To compete in the market, an offensive marketing strategy is needed said the minister. According to the AEC development in this region will impact the entire country.
